Ben graduated from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan with degrees in psychology and economics, followed by his Juris Doctor degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. After clerking for the now Judge Beth Allen, Ben opened the solo practice that he operates today. Ben’s practice is focused on family law, guardianships, conservatorships and estate planning.

Ben is a regular volunteer for the Saint Andrew Legal Clinic and was the volunteer of the year in 2011. Ben also represents children in domestic relations cases, often at a significantly reduced rate.

While he is a transplant form Michigan, Ben is proud to call Oregon home. He enjoys skiing, bike riding, and hiking with his dog, Suzy. On rainy days Ben likes to play the guitar, brew beer, and cook vegetables from his garden.
